No one bothered to ask this guy if he lived with his uncle.

Barack Obama’s massive, confusing family has proven to be a big source of trouble for the President, especially considering that Obama’s father is African and his half-siblings, uncles, and the African side of his family has been involved in some controversy.  Obama’s brother was banned from the UK, and there are other troubling relatives out there somewhere, not leave of whom is Obama’s uncle, Omar Obama.  The White House has admitted that President Obama lived with Omar Obama while attending Harvard Law School; previously, the White House has denied any relationship between the two.

“Back when this arose, folks looked at the record, including the President’s book, and there was no evidence that they had met.  And that was what was conveyed.  Nobody spoke to the President,” admitted White House Press Secretary Jay Carney.  “When Omar Obama said the other day and there were reports that he had said the other day that President Obama, back when he was a law school student, had stayed with him in Cambridge, I thought it was the right thing to do to go ask him.”

According to Obama’s camp, the two lived together for only three weeks, and haven’t spoken to one another in ten years after drifting apart.  Good thing for Obama, considering his uncle has been living in the United States illegally for roughly 50 years.  I guess now that immigration judges in Massachusetts have decided to allow Omar to stay in the country, it’s not such a big deal anymore.
