I think that the oceans are incredibly fascinating, if only for the wide variety of creatures, both cute and frightening, that live beneath its waves. While even stuff on the ocean is neat, there’s nothing that compares to the freak show that is your average bottom-dwelling ocean fish. They’re like slippery nightmares from H.R. Giger’s dream journal, I tell you! That’s why I picked a cute picture to lead with. It’ll set you up for the twist ending.

I guess this is why I like nature shows so much, yet I’m not such a big fan of actual nature. Well, this and my allergies. I love to swim, but running into a shark or some mutant monster fish under water? No thank you. I might be a chicken, but I’m not a fool. This chicken is gonna keep all his wings and legs.
