The world moves at incredible speeds.  The lightning quickness of a hummingbird’s wing, the slow and stately tortoise… these are the things that make up our world.  But what happens when you take something fast and capture a split second of it?  You get beautiful high speed photography like the picture you see above you.  Isn’t that gorgeous?

I’d love to see some high speed photography of, say, Gallagher smashing a watermelon or two cars colliding at an intersection.  I think that would be some awesome high speed images to capture.  I just wish I could take a decent picture.  Even my attempts at concert photography come out as blurry as an old man’s vision before cataract surgery.

Photography is a serious skill.  I wish I could do it.  Unfortunately, all my pictures turn out looking like this (but not as cool).
