Ultimate Star Wars Bedroom

y-wing-star-wars-bedroom.jpg

Now THIS is an incredible bedroom.  In Visalia, California, you can find a nice 2500-square-foot house for $364,000.  It’s being sold by its owner; there are 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, garage space for 3 cars (one attached 1 car garage, one freestanding 2 car garage), and a saltwater pool.  Oh yeah, one of those bedrooms?  Has a built in Y-wing bed.

Could that bedroom be any cooler?  I mean, that Y-wing has BATTLE DAMAGE on the side!  There’s a bust of Darth Vader on the desk!  Look at all that floor space and all those storage cabinets!  Now that’s Star Wars in real life!

Granted, it’s not the best room in the world for bringing home women, unless you’re bringing home alien women, but for a kid ages birth through 12?  There’s nothing cooler than sleeping in a spaceship.  It’d also make a great den or game room or something else once the kid is out of the house.  Maybe a conversion to a home theater, with the projector and equipment in the Y-wing’s nose?

As far as I’m concerned, the possibilities for this room are endless.

SpaceX Rocket A Last-Second Scrub

It was as dramatic as the closing sequence of any James Bond movie.  The clock was counting down–5, 4, 3, 2, 1–and at the last second, everything ground to a halt.  It wasn’t some evil plot that was stopped, but a good plot.  Space Exploration Technologies Corporation, a pioneer in commercial space flight, was scheduled [...]
