Is there anything more traditional or, dare I say beloved, than coffee and a doughnut for breakfast? Or coffee and a bagel for breakfast? No, that’s pretty much the standard meal of choice for anyone on the go and the stereotypical favorite of cops everywhere. Well, if Buzz Doughtnuts has their way, you’ll be able to combine that coffee and doughnut into one caffeinated treat with their caffeine-enfused food additives! I’m all a quiver with anticipation (or caffeine withdrawals).
Buzz doesn’t put the caffeine directly into the doughnut, but into spreads, frosting, and sprinkles so that you can control just how much perk you need to perk up in the morning. They plan to offer three caffeine levels: Buzz Ultra, Buzz Original, and Buzz Lite. They use a specific additive called Encaff that coats the caffeine particles to make them tasteless, thus turning the spread from a bitter mess to the cream cheese we all know and love, but with an extra kick!
The sooner this product gets to market, the better. I’m buried beneath old tea bags and coffee grounds, but I still need as much help waking up as I can get. I’m not a cream cheese on my bagel person, but throw Encaff in some sprinkles for my doughnut and I’m all over it.
