It’s an image Steve Ballmer would rather us not see. The CEO of Microsoft since Bill Gates stepped down, Ballmer is responsible first and foremost for the vast Microsoft empire, from its joint venture MSNBC to its brand new operating system Windows 7. As such, Ballmer takes a lot of the blame for a lot of stuff, especially the infamous Windows blue screen of death. This horrible message is familiar to any user of Windows computers, mostly because it’s a glowing neon sign saying “Something’s wrong.” Hence, this mosaic Ballmer portrait rendered in BSOD images via Poorly Drawn Portraits!
It’s odd. I haven’t had a real BSOD outbreak since I moved my desktop to Vista. I take that back; I think I’ve had one that was the fault of my image editing software. Am I just really lucky? Everyone else seems to have all kinds of problems with Windows, but I rarely (if ever) do.
