I love Peeps (warning, dangerously catchy auto-playing music).  There’s something about Just Born’s yellow marshmallow confections that just hits the spot for me.  I adore those candies, and there’s just something about Easter that says Peep season for me.  It’s just not the holiday without a Diabetic Suicide Omlette.  I’m not the only one.  Just ask the crowds at the opening of the first Peeps Store in Oxon Hill, Maryland!  If you want to look at what’s inside the store but can’t get to Maryland, just feast your peepers at PSFK’s (small) image gallery.

I have to say, it’s about time for Peeps-themed stores.  The candies seem to be everywhere lately, and with good reason.  They’re awesome, and I’ll have no arguments from the peanut gallery over this.  Peeps are the best thing you can do with sugar, food coloring, and marshmallows, and the Peeps chick is the king of the Peep world.
