Tomorrow, we’re supposed to get our first real snow of the season.  Weathermen, in their accurate way, are saying we’re going to get anywhere from an inch or two to six inches.  All that matters is this snow is supposed to stick, which means that we’ll finally get to have our first snowmen of the season!  If you’re looking for awesome snowmen, look no farther than these Calvin and Hobbes-inspired nightmarish snowman scenes.

Calvin and Hobbes is a great comic strip.  Bill Watterson is something of a genius, given how easily his strip blends childhood flights of fancy with serious philosophical discussions.  Of the strips in my paper, it was always my favorite.  That said, there’s only one thing Calvin is known for these days.  It’s not the tableaux of frightening snowman horrors, it’s that stupid bumper sticker of him (or a knock-off version of Calvin) peeing on various logos.  I really hate that bumper sticker.
