If you’re looking for some good fishing, normally you’d avoid Lajamanu, Australia, like the plague. After all, the town is 326 miles away from the nearest river and located in the desert, so it’s not the sort of place where fish just fall out of the sky. Except for when fish falls from the sky. That’s what local residents say happened as hundreds of carp dropped from a passing storm into the town’s streets. Maybe it’s time for a fish fry, chased with a little chocolate air?
Meteorologists say that conditions were ripe for a tornado, and that’s what they believe caused the rain of fish. A tornado picked up a pond or lake full of carp and just dumped them out over Lajamanu. I’d say we should call in the UFO experts, but they’ve all been fired and their records have been destroyed.
