Unlike some guys who want to go to jail to escape their problems, accused cell phone thief John White was trying to escape going to jail.  However, his problem was his sense of direction.   So he stopped to ask a helpful cop for directions.  The cop immediately arrested him.  As it turns out, White asked the cop investigating the crime he just committed for directions!

Here’s where White goes from incredibly unlucky to aggressively dumb.  Not only did White match the clerk’s description of the criminal who stole the two phones, the address White wanted help finding was the very same address found on a slip of paper left at the scene of the crime!  It goes without saying that a guy this fried was found with pot in his car (along with the two stolen phones).
