It’s a revenge plot torn straight from the pages of a Dr. Phibes movie, or some sort of set piece that’ll be used in the next Saw picture, I know it! When two brothers, Guo Gongwei and Guo Gongtian, wanted to get revenge on the leader of their village, a man identified only as song, the two brothers used what was available around them. Given that they worked in the market in Guangzhou, China, they had access to a lot of short-tail pit vipers, which are used as food and medicine in Chinese folk cures. So they bought up 500 snakes and let them loose near Song’s house, hoping that the snakes would get him.
They didn’t.
As we all know, snakes make terrible hitmen. They’re more prone to massages than attacks, and they’re easily bribed with a pack or two of cigarettes. If they can’t do any damage when you let them loose on a plane, how are they going to somehow get inside this guy’s house from the outside! If you want to kill him, you have to somehow get your bucket of snakes inside his house!
