Matthew Clemmens is kind of a gross guy. The 21-year-old from New Jersey is also one of the few Philadelphia Phillies fans that give the baseball team (and the city’s sports fans in general) a horrible reputation for being serious jerks and drunken idiots, because he’s the guy that supposedly intentionally vomited on an off-duty cop and his children at a Major League Baseball game between the Phillies and the Washington Nationals in Philadelphia.
“It was the most vile, disgusting thing I’ve ever seen,” said Michael Vangelo, AKA the barfee. “He has two fingers down his throat, he lunges forward and vomits on myself and my 11-year-old.” Yes, it’s gross, and yes, I’m kind of sorry I’m linking it.
Fortunately, not all Phillies fans are drunken louts or cheap prostitutes. After Clemmens’ sickening sick assault, other fans at the game grab him to restrain him until police can arrive to arrest him. When he resists, one of the fans gives him that black eye you can see in his mug-shot. If he intentionally threw up on a guy and his family in retaliation for a friend getting thrown out of the game, as is suspected, then he deserves that black eye and a whole lot more. That’s literally stomach-turning!
