It’s not easy to see a loved one spending time in prison, but if you want to bust Mom out for her special day, I have a great exhibition of what NOT to do and how NOT to do it.  First, I’ll link you to the worst prison break in history, then I’ll tell you, step by step, what not to do.  Okay?  Okay.

First of all, don’t dress in a Snoopy costume.  I know you have to wear some kind of disguise, but anything’s better than dressing like in one of those giant foam rubber mascot outfits, because you’ll probably need to be able to see, move, and use your hands to lead a prison escape.  Secondly, make sure you have the right jail, and that you’re not trying to break someone out of a jail they’re not in.  If they’re in Camp Hill, don’t try to break into HMP Isle of Wight’s Albany location.  Thirdly, if you’re going to bring a weapon, make it a real gun and not a water pistol.  Fourth, if you can’t break down the door, don’t just stand around throwing rocks at cop cars.

Snoopy and his uncostumed accomplice were taken into police custody.  The two men, ages 43 and 21, were booked on suspicion of criminal damage.  Police weren’t specific on which idiot was the one wearing the costume, but does that really matter?
