There’s a surprising amount of dancing in the animal kingdom.  From boogie bears to samba-dancing babies, everything and everyone enjoys dancing, even if they’re not good at it.  However, this red squirrel caught doing his best disco moves just might be the John Travolta of the animal kingdom.

The hilariously wonderful image of a squirrel re-enacting Saturday Night Fever (Saturday Nut Fever?) was captured by a wildlife photographer named Marek Paluch.  The squirrel was caught in action in the city of Opole, Poland.  Talk about your great timing!

Would you ever thing you could catch something like this with your camera if you weren’t absolutely waiting to catch it?  I mean, isn’t this a once-in-a-lifetime shot?  It’d have to be; how often do you even see squirrels posing like this?  Or if you catch it in movement, how often do you get such a clean, non-blurry image of movement?  In my case, that’d be never.
