Paul Ewing is not a man to be trifled with.  His neighbor owed him money for drugs, but refused to pay.  So Ewing got a little creative and decided that revenge is a dish best served via murder.  Ewing, a 35-year-old from Bradenton, Florida, didn’t kill a person, he just killed his neighbor’s plants using a squirt gun and some water balloons.  Talk about your strange crimes!

Ewing didn’t overwater the plants to kill them, he was a bit more direct than that.  He filled the squirt gun and water balloons with Roundup weed killer, then used that weed killer to kill the plants slowly, from a distance, over a period of several weeks.  Ewing estimated the plant damage at $250; he was released on $500 bond.  How killing someone’s plants is revenge I’ll never know, but maybe they were awesome living sculptures, not just generic plants.
