Kansas Secretary of State Chris Biggs is in the race of his life against Republican challenger Kris Kobach, but it may just be his creative fundraising that’ll make the difference.  After an old campaign ad showed Biggs with a mustache, followers started commenting about the facial decoration, either for it or against it.  Chris Biggs is turning the discussion of his upper lip into campaign dollars by having a donation contest.  If even-number donations outnumber odd-number donations, Chris Biggs will grow a campaign mustache.  If odd numbers dominate even, he stays clean-shaven.

You know Kris Kobach has to top this somehow, right?  Maybe growing a campaign beard?  Or a campaign goatee?  Maybe he should let his supporters donate between a pie in the face or a dunk in the dunk tank to raise a little campaign cash?  You can’t just steal Biggs’ campaign ‘stache, you have to outdo him somehow.  I think beard is the way to go, but I could be biased.
