Looking to relieve some of the stress of Christmas, Dr. Michelle Ferrari-Gegerson of Parkland, Florida, got out her portable neck massager and went to town. It was this desire to relax that caused her life to end. Michelle Ferrari-Gegerson died after being strangled to death by her portable neck massager.
“The massager got entangled with a necklace, and it probably caused her to black out very quickly,” said spokesman Jim Leljedal of the Broward County Sheriff’s Department. What a terrible way to go.
When Dr. Ferrari-Gegerson’s husband Kenneth came home, he found his wife not breathing with the neck massager beside her. He called the proper medical authorities, but by the time they arrived it was too late for Michelle. Yeesh, what a freak accident; it’s like something Chuck Lamb, Professional Dead Guy, would dream up but dismiss for being too unrealistic. This poor woman. You have to have sympathy for her and her husband; thousands of people use these neck massagers every day and this never happens.
