Folks in Waco, Texas can now order a Supa Fly Ho without worrying about a police sting operation arresting them for solicitation of a prostitute.
Lakita Evans, a 23-year-old woman inspired to create the name of her establishment while watching the movie “Phat Girlz”, has opened a new restaurant named Fat Ho Burgers in the Lone Star State and the Supa Fly Ho is just one item on the menu. Starving folks not lactose intolerant can also order their Ho with cheese, or as it’s spelled on the menu “chz”.
Evans, who worked her way through college, may not make sandwiches as big as the Super Scooby, but apparently her culinary creations are pretty tasty. Business has been so brisk at the newest restaurant sensation in Waco that they ran out of meat after a busy lunch rush on a recent day.
While patrons have been flocking to the front door of Fat Ho, a neighboring flock isn’t as pleased with the burger joint’s name. Just around the corner, the Gospel Café, a volunteer-run religious café and bookstore, attracts an entirely different clientele who don’t appreciate the humor Evans is serving with her Sloppy Ho Brisket sandwiches. No matter how displeased they might be, I am sure the folks at the Gospel Café won’t try to put a hex on their neighbor.
Maybe the hungry drunk who called 911 to order a cheeseburger should just move in next door to Fat Ho Burgers once he gets out of jail.
