Pat Sajak looks like he's been getting his drink on again.

If you want to talk about the secret lives of game show hosts, you might want to talk about Pat Sajak.  Apparently, the suit in charge of Wheel of Fortune used to have quite a bit of fun during tapings, and by fun I mean booze.  That’s right, Pat Sajak confessed on ESPN2 that he used to leave the studio between tapings to go out and get his recreational drink on.  In the 80’s, the show would have a lot more time between episodes, so Pat Sajak and Vanna White’s margarita would quickly go from one or two to five or six.

Man, I bet Wheel of Fortune was a lot more fun to host back in the early 80’s!  Going out and drinking five or six margaritas with Vanna White, then heading over to tape more shows?  No wonder he looked like he was having a blast in spite of the whole boring “buy prizes with your fake money” setup the show used to have.  Still, you have to wonder:  did Pat and Vanna ever buy a successful contestant a drink for an awesome feat (like getting a win with only one letter)?
