It’s one of the busiest days of the year at your local breakfast joint, thanks in no small part to IHOP. That’s right, it’s National Pancake Day, and that means the International House of Pancakes is giving away a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes provided you’ll consider making a donation to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Good food and a good cause? What’s not to like?
The event runs from 7 AM until 10 PM, so make plans to head over to your local IHOP and support this good cause. The event has been very successful in the past, but the one thing you can say about IHOP is that they’ll never run out of pancake batter, because they give away free pancakes every year. This is the seventh consecutive year for Pancake Day, and IHOP hopes to raise $2.7 million dollars for charity in the process of delivering hundreds of millions of pancakes.
