It’s not the most unusual list of pumpkin carvings I’ve ever seen.  Aside from a few surprises, it’s your standard assortment of horror movie characters, sci-fi monsters, robots, and that kind of thing.  However, it’s the details that went into these 130 creative Halloween pumpkins passed on via Neatorama that gets me going.  These pumpkins are incredible!

Just to share how bad at this I am, the easiest pumpkin on that list is still far beyond my capabilities.  You could give me a pattern to tape to the pumpkin with lines I just had to follow with my knife, and I’d still blow it.   No matter how big the pumpkin might be, I just don’t really have the dexterity to chop out something cool.  I can barely manage triangle nose, slanty angry eyes, and a leering grin.  That doesn’t mean I don’t wish I could do those kind of carvings, I just know what my skills are and what my skills aren’t.  Anything involving knives and precision is beyond me.
