The old saying goes: once is an accident, twice is a trend. Stop me if you’ve heard this one, but the Apple iPhone 4G has been leaked, with a technology website taking it apart and posting all the possible specs about it. No, it’s not that Gizmodo leak from last month; this time it’s a Vietnamese technology web forum called Taoviet that’s gotten its hands on the iPhone prototype.
Since history has already repeated itself, do you think Apple is going to try to prosecute Taoviet, even though they’re out of the reach of the United States justice system? Or will they just go straight to the CIA and call in a retaliatory air strike? Either way, Apple’s not going to be happy they can’t keep their phones from getting lost.
The Taoviet iPhone is a more refined prototype than the Gizmodo version. The Taoviet leak is a 16-GB model that uses the same A4 processor as the iPad (so it really is just two iPhones taped together!). Interestingly, the device lacks visible screws holding it together, giving it a very sleek form factor.
