Lisette Lee is, quite possibly, one of the most brazen criminals ever to sneak drugs across the country.  It’s not that she hid it in bananas or pictures of Jesus, it’s that she didn’t even try to hide the fact that she was doing something suspicious.  For one, she was traveling in a chartered plane, with a bodyguard and two personal assistants.  Also, she had 13 suitcases.  Within those suitcases were 506 pounds of marijuana, drug ledgers detailing $300,000 worth of transactions, and personal-use levels of cocaine and pot.  That’s not exactly keeping a low profile!

Even Cheech and Chong are impressed by this, and they once drove an ice cream van made out of marijuana!  Lee and her bodyguard knew they were doing something illegal, but for $60,000, they were willing to look the other way.  Lee chartered the plane from Van Nuys, California, to Columbus to “visit a boyfriend and transport equipment to a horse farm,” if by “boyfriend” she meant “drug kingpin” and by “equipment to a horse farm” she meant “enough drugs to kill the surviving members of the Grateful Dead.”
