Radivoje Lajic is not a very lucky man. For one thing, he’s got a name like a bad Scrabble hand. Also, he’s being bombarded by meteors. For some reason, Lajic’s house in the village of Gornji Lajici, Bosnia, is meteor central. He’s been hit by six meteors since 2007, and every time it rains, he lives in fear that his steel-reinforced roof will be hit yet again by space rocks.
Is this a coincidence, or is it deliberate? If you ask the man himself, he says he’s being targeted by hostile aliens. Said that man after his fifth attack, “I am obviously being targeted by extraterrestrials. I don’t know what I have done to annoy them but there is no other explanation that makes sense. The chance of being hit by a meteorite is so small that getting hit six times has to be deliberate.”
You know what they say. If you eliminate all the other possibilities, the one that remains–no matter how illogical–has to be the answer. Of course, maybe he’s just unlucky.
