There are a whole lot of e-readers out there to choose from, and the e-reader is going to be the hot gift for the holiday season yet again. However, how do you pick one? Between dedicated e-readers like the Kindle and Nook or do-it-all devices like the iPad and Galaxy Tab, there’s an awful lot of options out there for someone who just wants to read on the go. The truth is, these devices can be as complex or as simple as you want, but here’s a helpful comparison for telling what kind of e-reader you might want this holiday season.
I’m a simple person. I like do-it-all things, but when it comes to a specific task, I want something that will excel at that specific task. For me, the best e-reader I’ve gotten to play with has been the Amazon Kindle. I’m not officially endorsing it, mind you, but I’m definitely pro it. It’s just so easy to use and it reads as well as real paper does without the eye strain I can get from gadgets. If I was getting one, it’d be that one.
