Lawyers don’t get a lot of respect from most people. They’re about as popular as politicians and used car salesmen.
Defense lawyers are even less appreciated since they represent the criminal element. These professionals may now get even more heat for their affiliation with “paralegals” visiting imprisoned drug dealers in Miami.
It turns out these legal representatives are more involved with Victoria’s Secret briefs than legal briefs. The women visiting prisoners are actually strippers and, in addition to providing sexual favors to the incarcerated, they are also smuggling contraband into the maximum security Federal Detention Center. Along with yellow legal pads, everything from cash to drugs and booze to Playboy magazines are being brought into the facility by the strippers. If this were happening in Great Britain it might not be such a surprise since 25 percent of strippers there have college degrees.
The lawyers for these drug kingpins list the adult entertainers as legal assistants so they can get entrance to the prison and access to the clients behind bars. Since they are legal representatives and are supposedly there to discuss the client’s trial, they spend time with the inmate in the discovery room instead of in the general visiting area making transactions and action easier. Maybe in addition to drug dealers, they are visiting men jailed for financial improprieties like selling debt to hire strippers. That would be appropriate. Never mind, it’s still inappropriate.
With the current crop of law students unable to figure out a combination lock, maybe it’s no surprise savvy strippers are getting hired.
