Have you ever wondered what all the various parts, doors, and seams on an airplane are? Well, if you need a ground-up education in aircraft to figure out the engine from the cabin, you’re in luck. South African airline Kulula and ad firm Atmosphere have put together Flying 101, an infographic/advertising campaign that is currently decorating the sides of their airplane fleet.
While it’s not exactly flying lessons, it’s still really cool. I know I’ve always looked at the various doors and places on airplanes and wondered just what was behind them, so it’s nice to get a little glimpse as to the parts that make up the craft from the outside, without having to poke around the inside. Plus, from the safety of the outside, there’s no risk of tangling with those monkey-fighting snakes.
