It’s been a really weird February for most of the United States. From super blizzards all along the Eastern seaboard to basically every state of the union having snow on the ground somewhere, it’s been strange and cold all winter. Even the usually temperate South has been getting some serious snowfalls lately, much to my dismay. I hate snow, I hate trying to drive through it, and I’ve had too many incidents involving snow to make me comfortable driving through it. Still, even as bad as the snow has been here, it’s nothing compared to the blizzard and epic snowstorm images from Dark Roasted Blend.
We had eight inches of snow last week. I know that’s not a lot for most places, but in the South that’s a pretty good snowfall. We’ve added another four inches onto that total since then, though most of the snow melted off the roads between then and now. Guess what’s on tap for next week? More snow. Just when the roads start to clean off, we get another round of winter. I can’t wait for this to be over.
