I don’t throw around words like “destiny” too often, but if you can ever say that a couple of kids were destined to get married, it’s Amy Singley and Stephen Smith. The pair, from eastern Pennsylvania, were born on the same day (April 17, 1986) in the same hospital (St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill, Pennsylvania) and their mothers shared a room in the maternity ward. When Amy and Stephen went out to the movies after becoming close to one another in church (obviously they attended the same church, too), it was just meant to be. The two plan on getting married on June 12.
That’s crazy, isn’t it? Apparently, though, those two were meant to be together. Sometimes you meet someone and things just click, either in spite of your differences or because of your similarities. Marriage is never easy, especially to another person and not an object, but if anyone can pull it off, it’ll be those two crazy kids. I mean, they pretty much have to now, since they’re getting all this media attention.
Good luck, Amy and Stephen!
