LeBron James has moved on with his life and NBA career, but fans in Cleveland aren’t quick to forgive, or forget. Not just LeBron James, either; they’re taking their ire out on LeBron supporters, fans of the Miami Heat, and pretty much anyone they can. I suppose that’s why a fan wearing a LeBron James Miami Heat jersey was escorted out of Jacobs Field by security during last night’s Cleveland Indians/New York Yankees game.
Surprisingly, or unsurprisingly, even Cleveland baseball fans were deeply offended by James fleeing the city for greener pastures, and with the hated Yankees in town (LeBron’s favorite team!), there was just too much electricity for this fan to endure. Apparently what started small escalated, and before the man was removed from the stadium for his own safety, several hundred fans were hurling curse words (and probably other, nastier things) at the unlucky object of their mutual hatred.
You have to admire the guy for his guts, but pity him for his lack of brains.
