Remember the story yesterday about Yves Rossy, the Jet Man who was going to fly across the English Channel?  Well, today, he did it.  He took off over France, flew 22 miles across the Channel, and landed successfully in Dover in less than 10 minutes.  The BBC has the incredible video taken by the National Geographic Channel.

It looks like it was a beautiful day, and I’m very glad to see Mr. Rossy made it successfully.  Not because I have any particular interest in his flight across the Channel, but because I’ve always wanted my own jet pack.  This puts me one step closer to my dream.  Now that he’s proven he can do this, he really needs to get to work on the flying car.  Think bigger, Yves!  Go for the gusto!
