Kenny Mahoney has a problem. It seems that his garden keeps getting ruined by animals. So he put out a motion sensor and video camera. The usual culprits abound; rabbits, birds, and deer have all had their way with the food. However, there is one unusual animal found in Mr. Mahoney’s garden in Fairdale, Kentucky. Recently, if you believe the camera, he caught a Bigfoot on video. Unlike other cryptid catchers, he’s actually submitting his animal for verification, having sent off pictures to a wildlife expert for identification.
As Newscoma said, “It’s not a bear. It’s not a bear.” I really hope it’s not a bear, especially since Fairdale is probably 15 minutes from my house. That means, if I plant some green beans, I might have a Bigfoot in my backyard!
Bigfoot has a long tradition of sightings in Kentucky, but usually more towards Appalachia. While Fairdale is a very wooded and sparsely populated area of the state, it’s not very hilly and I always thought Bigfoot preferred hills. Maybe it’s just the woods he likes? Either way, I sure hope Bigfoot swings by my place for a beer tomorrow night!
