I admit, one of the problems I have with getting into the holiday spirit is that, well, Christmas music is kind of lame. I mean, it’s the same songs you’ve heard for your entire life, and most of those songs are hundreds of years old, so there’s not much you can do with them to make them interesting. Unless, of course, you’re an 80’s metal band like Twisted Sister. If you’re like them, then you simply put your twist on an old favorite. That’s the kind of awesome stuff you’ll find on the YesButNoButYes glam-rock Christmas.
Normally, I’m not a fan of the 1980’s heavy metal, but I have to admit they certainly breathe a lot of life into the traditional Christmas tune “Oh Come All Ye Faithful” with their cover version. Plus, as you’ll see below, the video is the heights of crazy 80’s cheese. It’d definitely be the Guitar Hero track I’d sync my Christmas lights to!
