Recently, I had a pretty dangerous experience.  I took a piece of china that I had assumed was microwave safe, and put it in the microwave.  In case you can’t tell by the set up, the china is actually old enough, or fancy enough, to have a metal lip around the plate.  So, what I thought was just paint turned out to be metal, and three seconds into the process of heating up whatever it was I was eating, and I hear horrible pops and smell a pungent plastic melting scorch smell.   I can only imagine what it smells like to microwave a wine box.

A little known fact about those boxes is that they’re lined with foil to preserve the wine.  That’s why, when this guy pops the box in the microwave, it blows up like a claymore mine.  Judging by the hole in the kitchen wall, there must be a lot of metal in there.  That’s what I call a serious explosion!
