You can tell by his glasses and bad haircut that Andrew Garfield is supposed to be a nerd.
Well, it finally happened. After several near-leaks and leaks of trailers for other superhero movies, the trailer for the new reboot of Spider-Man’s origin story, The Amazing Spider-Man, has finally been released. it features Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man/Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, and lots of other folks as lots of other extras. This is Spider-Man’s origin story being retold; the villain won’t be Green Goblin this time; apparently, Rhys Ifans will take on the role of Curt Connors, AKA Lizard.
Here’s the trailer; please check it out.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWP8TdXdFZgI just… I don’t know about this trailer. Maybe the movie itself will be awesome, because I like Emma Stone and a lot of the other people involved, but director Marc Webb has promised a grittier, more contemporary take on everyone’s favorite teenaged web-crawler. Well, I assume he’s still a teen here; Andrew Garfield is 27, so he’s a bit old to play a teenager. Maybe it’s a college-aged Peter Parker in the more character-driven remake? I guess we’ll find out.
