One of the biggest trends of the year has been Auto-Tune.  It’s everywhere.  Every song recorded in 2009 seems to feature auto-tuning in some way, and the trick of sound engineers everywhere has crossed over into the mainstream.  In fact, people like Michael Gregory have even auto-tuned the news.  That’s why an auto-tuned recap of the big news stories of 2009 is so appropriate (and hilarious).

If there was a big news story in 2009, it was covered.  Jon and Kate?  They’re there.  Balloon Boy?  He did it all for the show.  Heidi and Spencer?  Unfortunately, they’re included, but not for their swine flu masks.  Twitter makes the news list.  Christian Bale’s memorable outburst gets the nod, even if his movie roles didn’t.  Even Mr. Auto-Tune himself, Kanye West, is featured prominently thanks to his outburst at the VMAs.   Check it out, it’s hilarious!
